Ingredients

½ cup organic raw cocoa powder ( *you can also use regular cocoa powder) ¼ cup maca powder 4 tablespoons turmeric powder 90 ml damiana tincture 1 tablespoon organic ginger powder

1 tablespoon organic cardamom powder

1 tablespoon organic nutmeg

1 tablespoon organic cinnamon ½ tablespoon finely ground black pepper 3/4 cup organic almond butter 1/2 cup organic peanut butter (smooth)

¼ cup organic macadamia nuts

4 tablespoons of organic honey

1 teaspoon organic Vanilla extract

¼ cup organic almond milk

1 tablespoon organic Rose water or Hydrosol 2-4 tablespoons of cocoa powder for dusting or coconut shreds to roll balls in and coat

250gm Vegan organic dark chocolate bar

Method

  • In a food processor, mix the macadamia nuts, nut butters,Rose water, Vanilla and honey together.

  • In a separate bowl sift and combine the powdered herbs.

  • On Medium speed, slowly add powdered herbs to the nut butter mixture, blend until well combined, slowly and carefully pouring a small amount of almond milk in at a time to create a dough-like consistency. The milk should moisten the dough enough so that it comes together and isn't dry or crumby. Do not over wet the dough.

  • Mix on High speed until the mix blends well and accumulates to form a big ball. The mix should be moist and doughy and stick slightly to your hands. Make sure it's not too wet where it is gooey and too sticky to be kneaded. **Add more almond milk if too dry or more cocoa if its too wet.

  • Scrape the sides of the food processor with a spatula if needed and knead the remaining bits into the ball with your hands.

  • Form mixture into2.5 or 3 cm balls and set aside.

  • In a double boiler or microwave, melt the 250gm Vegan chocolate bar in a bowl.

  • Remove the melted chocolate form the heat and set aside.

  • Using a toothpick or fork, carefully and gently pick up each truffle, one by one, and dip into the melted chocolate to coat, place on a plate to set. Alternatively you can drizzle the chocolate over each truffle using a fork or sprinkle with cocoa powder and coconut shreds instead. **You can also roll a few in just the cocoa powder or just coconut shreds to create a variety in flavour and presentation.

  • Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes to an hour to set—refrigeration will give the truffles a firmer texture and set the chocolate coating.

  • Enjoy up to 1-3 truffles per day.

Happy Valentines day!

Sooo much love...xoxox
